This is a youth advocacy programme that targets young men and women in high School and universities in Kenya, seeking to work with them as allies in the promotion and realization of women’s and girls’ rights in Kenya. Through this campaign Inua Dada works with students to amplify the importance of realizing women’s and girls’ rights in Kenya and use their voices to rally for change through movement Building. Generation Parliament by Inua Dada Foundation empowers 41 university students from the University of Nairobi and USIU-Africa with advocacy skills in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and digital advocacy, the program includes digital advocacy training, media outreach, and the co-creation of an Advocacy Toolkit. By project end, these young advocates will be equipped to drive social change and champion women’s and girls' rights across Kenya.
We are excited to announce that the Advocacy Toolkit will be launched in early 2025, further strengthening efforts to advance this critical mission.
