We are on a mission to empower and uplift girls and women in Kenya by championing dignity, equality, and access to opportunities. Founded by renowned advocate and media personality Janet Mbugua in 2014, our foundation tackles challenges related to menstrual health, gender equality, and education. We envision a world where every girl feels valued, respected, and equipped to thrive, regardless of her background or circumstance.
Through our projects, we address systemic issues and drive meaningful change in communities across Kenya. We understand that true empowerment starts with access to resources, education, and safe spaces for open dialogue. That’s why we work directly with communities, schools, and partners to ensure every girl and woman feels supported and seen. We believe in the power of community to create lasting change, and we invite you to join us on this journey.
To ensure the rights of the girl-child are protected by enhancing access to Sexual Reproductive and Health information. We aim to do this through a focus on menstrual equity, scaling to end period poverty and gender based violence, one girl at a time, to empower entire communities.
Inua Dada envisions a global community that empowers, upholds the dignity of-and protects-the rights of all girls as they progress to positive womanhood.
