Inua Dada Foundation is a Kenyan-based organization which has been in existence since 2014 and committed to empowering girls, young women, and youth by advocating for their rights and providing essential resources in Kenya. Our mission is to promote dignity, equity, and opportunity through initiatives focused on Menstrual Health & Hygiene MHH, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), and Youth Leadership Development. By addressing barriers related to access, advocacy, and agency, we strive to create sustainable and meaningful change in our communities.
To ensure the rights of the girl-child are protected by enhancing access to Sexual Reproductive and Health information. We aim to do this through a focus on menstrual equity, scaling to end period poverty and gender based violence, one girl at a time, to empower entire communities.
Inua Dada envisions a global community that empowers, upholds the dignity of-and protects-the rights of all girls as they progress to positive womanhood.
HOW WE DO IT
Our approach is grounded in three core pillars:
At Inua Dada Foundation, we believe that by fostering access, advocacy, and agency, we can build a more equitable society where every girl and young person can thrive and lead with confidence.
WHERE WE WORK
We operate across Kenya, with a special focus on underserved and marginalized communities where access to menstrual health resources, SRHR education, and youth leadership opportunities are limited. Our goal is to bridge these gaps and ensure that all young people, regardless of their background, can reach their full potential.
WHO WE WORK WITH
Collaboration is key to our success. We partner with local communities, schools, universities, policymakers, development organizations, and grassroots movements to maximize our impact. By leveraging collective expertise and resources, we work toward creating sustainable and long-lasting change.
WHEN WE WORK
Our programs run year-round, using both physical and digital platforms to reach as many beneficiaries as possible. We adapt our strategies to align with national and global advocacy efforts promoting gender equality, health, and youth leadership. Whether through in-person
